Lateral Transfer
Occurs
when the individual is able to perform a new task about the same level.
e.g.
solving word problems given in text and later solving a similar problem on the
board.

Occurs
when the individual is able to learn more advance or complex skills.
e.g.
being able to add and multiply, being able to read and write

Occurs
when a specific skill, fact or rule is applied to similar situation
